What are you eating/doing today? Thursday!
Yesterday I slept…a lot.
I am one of those people who, in general, believes the body self-regulates well how much sleep I or the divas need. This does not make me popular amongst other parents. My children, like their father and I, are night owls. They don’t sleep much in general, despite what time I make them go to bed. So instead of spending 2-3 hours listening to them sing Justin Bieber to themselves until they get sleepy, I figure we can have family time. On the flip side, since our whole lives are in a one mile triangle (soon to change) we can afford to sleep later to accommodate.
So that is to say it is rare for any of us to be in bed before about 11:30. And last night I was in bed at 8:30. Every once in a while I believe my body wants to relax. I tend to go and go and go.
That means today I feel GOOD! I feel good most days (physically, that is) but when I my body does the marathon sleep thing I feel especially good. I think I will go to the gym this evening and do a good, long hard workout. My body likes to have the opportunity to move in the way God intended it to J
EATS!
1. Click Frapp
2. One of the divas is home sick today so I am going home to make her lunch. My lunch will likely be tuna with tomatoes and cucumbers in a whole wheat pita
3. Maybe a hot Vanilla Latte Click this afternoon if I’m feeling the need
4. The divas will have leftovers of the casserole from church (which was a hit, btw). I had the casserole yesterday and I’m still not sure my innards have forgive me. Me + noodles = no good! I’m thinking of making some Cajun tilapia and veggies.
5. I need to quit my night snack habit: a handful of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. On the positive, it is way less calories than a bunch of cookies (About 130 calories, 9g sugar to be precise) but still…not a great habit. Not sure how I’ll replace it. I am also on peanut butter restriction for the time being and when I don’t do peanut butter I tend to eat a lot of stuff trying to AVOID peanut butter. Sigh…the battle continues.

Have you ever considered becoming a personal trainer. You could, um, be getting PAID to exercise like an insane person.
Just sayin'.

As for the personal trainer Not really me and I am not that good. I struggle through my workouts but finish them. I also have a nice FT position doing geeky nerdy stuff that I love and puts most people in a coma when it is explained to them.
