I'm teaching today so my schedule is off.  I had breakfast almost an hour and a half earlier - ugh.

Bottle of water on the way to work (no sf chocolates to distract me today!).

B - Fage 0%, crushed pineapple and splenda topped with Special K Protein cereal and ground flax.

Decaf coffee with splenda and ff non dairy creamer.

2nd bottle of water.

I'm about to go reheat my lunch - leftovers from dinner.  Crockpot (shredded) chicken with salsa and ff cream cheese.

I have a protein bar, an apple, and a pear for emergency food planning.  :)

Not sure what dinner will be tonight...

I had my body composition measured this morning in the "Bod Pod" (looks like a Mork N' Mindy spaceship)! Now I have a baseline from which to work. My percent of lean body mass is 63.2%; my percent of body fat is 36.8%. Looking forward to changing those numbers over the next six months!

B: eggs/turkey sausage
L: taco casserole/edamame/avocado
S: greek yogurt/diced pears
D: shrimp/4 cheese cauliflower
S: Protein Hot Chocolate + something protein like

Where did you have this done and how much was it?  I've been looking to do something like this myself!

I work at a university here in NH. They have a wonderful nutrition major and a very research oriented exercise science major. Because of that they offer lots of opportunities for faculty and staff to be test subjects for undergrad and grad students in both the nutrition and kinesiology programs. The bod pod testing, VO2 max and metabolic rate testing is part of the weight management program in the Center for Health Enhancement Weight Management Program (http://www.che.unh.edu/services).

The bod pod testing (before and after), VO2 max, resting metabolic testing, plus one on one meetings with a grad student in the program and the Ph.D. In charge is $200 and is reimburseable through the health education benefit in my health benefit plan. I am very lucky and happy to work at my university, and I really do try to take advantage of the wonderful opportunities they offer.

I think you should check locally at a college or university near you. The may have a similar research/educational program in their college of life science or nutrition or exercise science program. Other than that maybe just Google Bod Pod in (your state) and see what pops.

Ok I ended up in the "home gym" - I worked in my garden for the morning!
I used the pick ax / "Grubbing hoe" to turn the soil instead of tilling. I planted 2 rows of radish (1 white, 1 red), a small square of carrots (they never grow but I plant them every year lol ), and 5 short rows of mustard greens! Then I fed the horses and gave out hay, tended my chickens and rabbits. Good morning!!

B- egg "fried" in Pam, 1oz deli sliced ham
L - 2c chili w/ shredded cheese
D - leftover pork roast w/ steamed broc/cauli/carrots
S- strawberry w/ goat cheese

I think I may have a protein shake / banana when I get home.
