I think it's sweet that you have a traditional valentine's meal. And congrats on the 35 years.
We have 27 years of me getting Godiva. I will get 2 pieces and I will eat them!

When my DH was working he traveled to San Fransisco every January and brought home Gheradelli chocolates. Yum. But he's retired now and I would only trust myself with maybe one piece with no more available. lol Karen

I don't know what Scrapple is and I'm kind of afraid to google it.

I've had 8 oz ho****er with lemon. It's how I start my day every day. Warms me up and primes the pump.

I was running late and had to dial into a conference call on the way to work. I didn't get in my required one bottle of water before breakfast. Drinking it once I got here would have put me eating too late and thrown off my meals for the rest of the day - too full too long!

Breakfast was 0% Fage with sliced strawberries, Splenda, Special K Pure Protein and ground flax.

I'm about to start my water and coffee.

For lunch I have 3 oz of t bone steak and 3 oz of cauliflower - may or may not be able to eat it all.

I have a protein bar, protein powder and a pear in my lunch box for "emergency" food planning.

Dinner is in the crockpot a home. Boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crockpot with a jar of salsa. I just read your blog post Nik about the Southwestern Chicken/Queso chicken. I have a can of cheese soup in the pantry or may stop at the store for some cream cheese to turn it into that! It sounds good!

No workout tonight. My daughter has a soccer game at 6pm tonight so I'll be cheering her on. I did an hour of power yoga last night, 2 hours of mixed/core yoga sunday and an hour of power core yoga on saturday so I'm on track for the week.

I have to teach training classes 2 times a day for the remainder of the week to nurses - and we all know nurses are happier when you provide them food (I can say this because I'm a nurse) So I'm thinking banana nut mini muffins for the morning classes and I'm not sure what for the afternoon classes. My boss, who is training with me, is bringing chocolate candy.

I'll probably also bring a sugar free offering as well. I know how it feels to be left out.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Hmmm... it has to be easy, delicious, affordable (I have 6 classes this week and 5 next week), and easily portable.

Trust me...it's one of those foods where you don't wanna know. But it tastes (to me) dreamy.

It's a breakfast meat, though. Let's leave it at that ;)

I will not google.  I do not do well with things like that so I'm imagining it as something magical and yummy.  :)

I forgot the confess the 2 sf chocolate candies I ate this morning on the way to work - the really real reason I did not get my bottle of water in.  I was chewing chocolate instead.  :)

There's no more.  It went out the car window.  Moderation - and sometimes that's how I have to control it.

Good decision. Scrapple, I think, is one of those foods you have to be brought up on to truly understand the appeal. But I will say...eht ehm...that the name says a lot about what it is. Ok, I'll stop now!

Good job about the tossing of the candy. Sometimes it's what we gotta do. I applaude your strength in chucking it. I can't always say I'd do the same.
