Milk
Why are you only getting 300 calories some days? That's not enough.
It's OK to drink a lot of milk as long as you need the calories. Drinking calories is a good way to take in too many calories, though, and prevent weight loss or cause regain. Doesn't sound like that's an issue for you, though, at this point.
Are you getting enough protein? If you eat 300 calories a day and half comes from milk, you're only drinking about a glass and a half of milk, which is not that much. But that would only give you about 12 grams of protein. So what are you eating that has 150 calories and 50 grams of protein the rest of the day?

I see that you had your surgery at the end of November. I don't think drinking a lot of milk is a bad thing if you can tolerate it (at around 8 months I became lactose intolerant, as many of us do). I do think though that you really should try to get a more balanced diet if half of your very low calories are coming from milk. You are still relatively early out, so I do get the low calorie count (300 is too low though. 700 I get), but if 1/2 is coming from milk, then I don't see how you are getting enough complex carbs, and "food" proteins in. Are you following a "phase" plan from you NUT and surgeon?
Milk has more sugar that proteins... for every 8 oz of milk you get only 8 oz of proteins and 12gr of sugars... Since yu are not getting enough calories - I can only assume that you are not getting enough proteins... Milk is sweet and taste good... but in long term - that may make you stop losing weight...

Thanks for all your input. How many calories should i strive to eat since I had my surgery the end of November? Some days it is hard to eat and I am sure that everyone goes through this. I have a stessful job and when I am under stress it is a lot harder for me to eat. Does everyone have problems when under stress your pouch feels more restricted?
