CPAP MACHINE FOR SALE
If you own the machine it is legal to sell it. You can buy them on ebay for instance.
It should not be used until someone has had a sleep study to determine what the machine should be titred at.
If the insurance company bought the machine, call them and find out if you own it or if they do. They could simply be renting the machine. It is normal for them to rent the machine for a year or so. Then if you don't need it they return the machine to the durable medical supply company.

It is yours and you can sell it. Someone who has sleep apnea already may need a different one, a better one, or an extra one! You also should not be made to feel like you should donate it unless you just want to. Maybe you need the extra cash and they can save on a secondhand one at the same time. I bought a secondhand one a couple years ago to stay in my granddaughters room who lives next door so I didn't have to pack mine and take it back and forth. It was so nice. I also have a friend who bought one secondhand because they are expensive and her husband is self employed and she doesn't have insurance and the sleep study was a small fortune so she was happy to get one inexpensive. Moral: sell it if you need to! Most of all congratulations on no more sleep apnea... I know how exciting that is because I too am now apnea free!

If you paid for it ...is yours to do with it what you want! Just like you can by crutches, wheelchairs, oxygen machines. If you have money invested...sell it!
