Frick if I know. Someone bring me something. My back hurts. AND I am out of peanut butter. Oh the humanity...

Here's what I had today:

1. Bite of turkey lunch meat
2. Click Frapp
3. Salad with arugula, pine nuts, goat cheese, roasted red peppers and marinated portabello mushrooms with FF honey dijon dressing

What''s on YOUR plate today?

Oh.. dinner tonight. I am very nervous. Today is my late Nana's Birthday, so we always go celebrate at her favorite restaurant.. Giorgio's. Italian. I have yet to go to an Italian restaurant since my surgery and am not sure what my options will be. I was thinking Eggplant Parm but the eggplant is usually fried.. so I guess we will see how this goes. I am open to suggestions though.

I cant tolerate fried or pasta. :-(     I can usually find a soup or something.  I focus on enjoying the company.   I hope you have a wonderful time celebrateing the life of your Nana!

I haven't had any kind of pasta since before surgery and I am committing to stay away from it for at least 6 months. I may just end up sipping water and chatting.. and eating something when I get home. Thank you!

You can always order a slice or two of pizza and just eat the toppings...its great!  Not that bad for you and will give you the taste of Italian without the pasta and pizza dough

I had a cranky pouch day yesterday and it's still kinda pissed off about something today. (do pouches get that TOM??  LOL)  So today was bland so far:

Quest Protein bar for breakfast
Quest Protein bar for lunch
(tried a protein shake after my work out but the pouch said no thanks)
Tonight-  Am going to woo the pouch with a glass of wine then try Panko oven baked chicken and green beans.

Just for the record, I do usually eat real people food!!!  :-)

I was feeling completely lazy so I just picked up a rotisserie chicken... I just pull all the meat off it, feed some to the kitties, then my husband and I just eat through whatever else we want.  Luckily, there's some left for tomorrow... but even if we ate it all, that's one delicious meal for cheaper than anything you could get for two adults at a fast food place.  I had my very first rotisserie chicken after my RNY two years ago... can't believe I missed out on the yummy goodness for all the years prior!

SO good...

Anyway.
