Ok so this week…

Did you see what I mean about the showboating. I don’t think the sister did it, but Adrian was definitely mouthy and I think that’s unfortunate. I sort of wished he had that “come to Jesus" moment that he had with Dolvett in front of his team. If he’d admitted that he lost a child and that exercise was his way of exercising control in a situation where he felt helpless, I think even evil ass Conda could have related. But he chose to shut people out.  Even Dolvett when he advised him to slow his roll.

What I did find unfair was the one guy saying “you only lost 9 lbs.?" Um…most everyone’s weight loss was running the same. And by the way…YOU SEE THE MAN IN THE GYM!!! If it looked to you like he was slacking, fine (although I’d question even that. One does not lose 9 lbs. in a week or even 10 days by slacking) but just as a general matter of course I think there were some unrealistic expectations of Adrian.

Oh…but next week. Sistagirl is going to exact her fury on Conda. YEAH! I really don’t care who ends up doing it, so long as that chick gets a verbal smackdown at some point. Forgive me but I was really pissed she lost 8 lbs. I was rooting for someone to slip her some carbs in her sleep.

Other than the obligatory Conda hate, me getting seriously annoyed with the ever-increasing “Bob ****face" at weigh-ins (seriously dude? Not that deep) I only have this to say:

Dear Dolvett,

I’ll get wet with you any day, any time. You name the place and I am there.

Yours EVER so truly,

Nik

P.S. But I may have to wait for my back to heal up. You don’t mind, do you??? ;)

You forgot to touch on the most important thing... WHAT IS UP WITH THAT SILK SCARF?

Okay, I can see it when he's at home or at work, trying to look all dapper...

But he had a teal one on when he came to the ranch to WEIGH IN and he had a red one on this past week to weigh in...?  Huh?  It's not THAT cute buddy.

Okay.  Conda.  I was glad Dolvett called her out on excuses.  I wish her teammates would gang up on her and call her out too.  Can they not see her personality at all?  Next question - now that Adrian's gone who's getting her evil eye now?  It was that one guy who dissed her brother, then Cassandra because of the competition, then Adrian - now who?  Everyone left is "family" right?

I don'****ch the show as much as in previous years ... but I DVR and watch the last 2 when they came back.

Sorry, but he had it coming... Adrian...
1. he would not shut up
2. fact that he lost 9 lbs that week, but the first one - only 2 lbs... so compare that to his size - it was 11 lbs per 2 weeks and for the guy his size - that was not a very high % based on the BL % - that was not big enough..
3. Last but not least - he was the new kid,  big - so he could be serious competition for the rest of the big guys... - remove the competition when you still can...
\Unless the girl changes her attitude - she has it coming too...
When they had to eliminate someone - and they did got close with each other - no matter how obnoxious some of them are - the new person is the easiest target...

As for Conda - her time is coming... but I would like her to stay , she makes the show interesting... and she has a lot to learn... Humility is one....
I can't believe how young some of the contestants are...kids..

Dolvet - he is really smoking... but he also has a attitude I would not want to deal with... He is trying to prove himself.. and I think he is doing great job...

I think Bob know how to make them work out, how to make them lose the weight... I do wish I could work with that guy for 1 months... I think I would be able to learn how to maintain my BS and work out...
Dolvet is about building muscles and bodies... but Bob - is about slimming... making the body lose weight, get strong but not to bulk up... He is skinny... That's why his team may lose - while Dolvet makes them gain muscles as they lose weight...

I do hope that one day they will be judged on body fat %... and fat % lost ... not the total weight loss.  And that they get points deducted when they get dehydrated (water pills)

I want Conda to stay too, as much as I dislike her as a person she is a GREAT entertainment factor in the show.  Whining non stop during workouts and then acting superior about how much HARDER she works than anyone else.  Oh yeah.  Bring it.

Interestingly enough, Bob got showed up two seasons ago by Brett and Cara and now seems to be employing their methods (while snarking on Dolvett for using HIS old methods). Basically Brett/Cara subscribed to the philosophy that you get the body into a certain heart rate and zone and never let it come down at all, not even when switching activities. So it was all high intensity all the time. Most workouts will give you bursts of high intensity and then shorter bursts of low intensity (hence the running on the treadmill then jumping on the sides).

I would imagine if you never let the body come down in heart rate, it does shock the system quite a bit. It also seemed like Brett/Cara did a bit of calorie cycling to keep the body losing with this method and just kept pushing them harder as they got stronger.

To me, that strategy is both ingenious and very, very dangerous for obese people who are more likely to have heart problems. But then they have a whole team of doctors so I doubt anyone would be allowed to do anything that would harm them...I hope...

And those who get hurt... end up in  hospital for a while... (previous years...)

This year - they made it more interesting for me me to watch...

It cracks me up when my wife and I watch BL, because every time Conda talks, my wife says incredulously "THAT BIATCH!" LOL- she certainly is!

I gotta say though, that I love that Bob is incorporating CrossFit into his workouts, Fran which he did last week is a classic CrossFit routine. If you want to get in shape, those workouts will kick your butt! I love CF, I think it's a blast, and everything can be tailored to your level which is great as I have no upper body strength!

Sigh...Dolvett is cool but I miss Jillian....
