Busy day for me.  I had a mammogram this morning.  I'm a little upset  by it.  I don't know why.  I've been getting them since I was 25 since my mom was diagnosed at 40.  I think it is because I am the same age she was.  I am headed to the gym in a few minutes.  Hopefully I can work out all my negative emotions. Right now I just want to cry. Tonight My son is singing in his school program.

This is a left over day for me.

For lunch I am having the leftovers from last nights sushi.  I am turning it into a salad with cucumbers, avocado, and crab.  I will top it off with some sea weed.

Dinner is left over chili from 2 nights ago.

Just another day here...Did yoga at lunch, so now I'm all noodley and relaxed....ohmmmmmmm

BTW I don't snack between Breakfast and Lunch. I eat my breakfast at work and 3-4 hours later I have lunch. I do have a snack around 4 and eat dinner around the 7-8ish hour. Late snack right before bed so I don't get the rumblies/hungries during the night.

B: Chili Rellenos Puff, turkey sausage, 1/2 banana
L: chicken salsa, asparagus, mandarin orange cup
S: no salt cottage cheese and applesauce
D: Pork tenderloin, asparagus, spinach salad
S: NSA Hot Chocolate, cheese stick

It's just a breakfast-like casserole I make so I can grab and go in the morning:

Chile Rellenos Puff:

5 eggs beaten (till they are lemon colored)
2 cups of cottage cheese
3 Tbsp of flour
7 oz can of chopped green chiles
1 tsp of cumin
1/2 tsp of cayenne
additional spices to your taste
salt and pepper
1 cup of whatever shredded cheese you like (I use a RF mexican blend)
1/4 cup of shredded cheese
Beat eggs. Mix in remaining ingredients (except the last bit of shredded cheese). I use a Ninja processor and blend it approximately 20 seconds total. Heat oven to 350-375. Spray a 8 x 8 glass pan with Pam. Pour mixture into pan, top with remaining 1/4 cup of cheese and baked 30-45 minutes until center is set and knife comes out clean when inserted in center.

I cut into 9 squares and take one with turkey sausage for breakfast in the a.m. By my calculations when considering what cheeses I use, etc. (YMMV) its 129 calories and 14 grams of protein. I zap mine in the microwave for about 30 seconds and enjoy a bit of savory in the a.m.

7:30am Hot Salted Caramel protein drink
10am (8) trader joes peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets
12pm 3/4 cup homemade Italian wedding soup (sans pasta)
3pm cheese stick
5:30pm 3/4 cup bbq pulled pork and cole slaw
7pm nutella hot protein drink

I haven't been around for a while so I thought... hey... why not just say hi and post a little menu for today!!

B: 3/4 cup LF cottage cheese and 2 hard boiled egg whites

L: Healthy choice Cafe steamer

S: 1/2 c LF Cottage cheese  and 1 cup cucumbers with FF Italian

D: Salad w some kind of FF dressing , 6 oz chicken breast grilled, 1/2 c green beans

S: 1/2 c LF Tuna salad

950-1000 cal 106 gr protein

Not bad... not bad at all!!!

I am really struggling. The last few days have been protein shakes and a steamed tilapia fillet.
Today I worked out with the PT for our "group class". The group didn't show up just me and a guy. PT said "Oh .. so I just have my two heavy lifters - I'm changing the workout"
and she proceeded to stomp us in the ground.

That woke me up that I just have to try to push through the depression and stress and still take care of myself. So this is today

B - chocolate / pb2 / 1/2 banana shake (only drank about 1/2)
L - Nik's Zesty CHicken skillet, english peas
D - same as lunch
S - babybel cheese

Solid food doesn't sit well on my nervous pouch, but I'm hanging in.

 let's not talk about it lol. i was up and out the door by 7:00 to go downtown to the giants superbowl parade, grabbed a bacon,egg & cheese biscuit on the way and ate about 1/2 that. stood and got pushed and smushed for 4 1/2 hours (but hey! the only people in front of me were two little boys so i got some good pics! especially a good one of my future hubby victor cruz). went back uptown for school, got a grilled chicken sandwich with tomato and it apparently had ranch dressing on it (i didn't taste any), had a little less than 1/2 that. now i'm munching on some pizza i got on my way home. me and 14 hour days do not work well! i'm ready to climb into bed and sleep all day tomorrow

Breakfast - 3 TBS Organic egg whites, 1/2 veggie sausage patty, 1 TBS shredded cheddar

Snack - 1 scoop Tera's Whey vanilla protein with a 1/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop Gosh That's Good SF White Chocolate Powder and a couple drops of Capella Raspberry flavor with hot coffee, and a half of a Walker's Shortbread wedge.

Lunch - Boar's Head Colby Jack (1 oz); 1 slice Boar's Head Mozzarella, 1 oz roasted turkey (store made, nice and dry).

Snack - More Colby Jack and turkey

Dinner - amazing chicken (I swapped out the shrimp with about 12 oz chicken breast, no pasta for me).  www.howsweeteats.com/2012/02/spicy-parmesan-shrimp-skillet/

Snack - a variation of an Eggface cake - I used oat flour, oats and baking powder instead of pancake mix; I wanted something chewy...still needs some tweaking.  I tried using coconut flour last night....it was like sawdust. 

I still need more protein, so I am going to have a shake in a little while - a scoop of Tera's Whey vanilla with cotton candy flavor and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. 

That would bring me to 86 grams of protein and 1000 calories (almost).

 what is this cotton candy flavor you speak of and better yet where can i find it? lol. is it a davinci or torani? i've never seen that one
