I've been bad... Sorta...

So I ran out of my calcium chews this sunday. I thought I had another bag, but apparently I use them. Anyways, I ordered more as soon as I realized it & took my calcium citrate in pill form. Everytime I took it though, It would feel as though it got stick, even though I cut them. I decided not to take them cause I just couldn't keep getting sick, especially at work. I figured it would take 2 days to get them and I would be fine for 2 days. Well, it's Friday, and no calcium. I called and was told they won't arrive until Monday or tuesday. Is this to long to go without my calcium? I've been taking my multi vitamins and sublingual B.

Oh... I also ate a peanut butter cookie today. I don't know what came over me, cause I've been really good up until today. But it looked so good and I swear it called to me, 'eat me!' so, yeah, I was bad and ate it. I didn't eat it all at once, it took me 4 hours to eat it, but still...

Unless you have some sort of auto immune disease or are suffering from a hugh deficiency already, it is highly doubtful that a few days will make any difference to you at all.

Protein, vitamin and mineral deficiencies occur over a period of several months or even years!

Try to stop thinking about it as being bad or being good. That kind of polarizing thought process can keep you entrenched in a "good" and " bad" cycle, and enables a lot of vicious dieting psychology that undermines us.

Try thinking of it always as working towards balance. Eating a peanut butter cookie, is what it is... Not good or bad. Every choice you make serves your goals or it does not. It moves you towards balance or it does not. If it didn't , just move on and make the next possible choice move you back towards balance.

as far as the cookie goes..pat yourelf on the back, you did not eat the whole package of cookies....you ate one....you enjoyed it when you ate it as you savored it for the lenght of time to eat it....all things in moderation is the way to go,

Thanks guys. It's true, I could've eaten more, but I didn't, though I totally wanted another one, but I said, one is enough.

That's a great way to think about it too. I wasn't bad. I just need to keep working toward my goal. Thanks!
