UPDATED LORA UPDATE

 I just got caught up on her.  I hate to hear that!  Keeping her in my prayers.  She and I live in the same area and have the same surgeon.  If she needs anything just get in touch with me Nik.  I'll be more than happy to help her.

Thanks so much, Nik, for finding out for us! Lora is much loved and appreciated here, as are you. Knowing how many of us are so concerned for her and respect her I hope will give her lots of warm fuzzies......once she can get beyond whatever is causing this misery.

 Hi, guys.  Yes, I am ok.  (and the operator wass wrong... No surgery here!)

They are still trying to get my blood back to normal (have had 8 units of plasma!) and they put packing into both sides of my nose all the way up into my sinus cavity, so it feels like someone took a sledgehammer to my face. It also seriously triggered my PTSD to have the ENT guy hold my head down and force those things in.... There was a lot of pain and some crunching!!!! So in addition to the pain meds they have also been giving me Ativan and Klonopin to help keep me calm.  Mom brought me my iPad but it hurts to try to focus my eyes, spell not be online much.

Ditto all. Thanks Nik for the work, and Thanks Lora for the report. It seems that the worst is over, so please relax and recover. We all appreciate your advice and your experience, but it will be that much more valuable when you are healthy. WLS is about BEING HEALTHY!!!!

Thanks Nik for finding our beloved Lora.  Lora, get well and I hope the
pain subsides really soon.  We'll send prayers, good thoughts and
good wishes your way. I'm glad your mom is there to help.
