Poll: Where does your temptation live?
Mainly in the pantry, although refrigerator and freezer hold my biggest temptation too. Like Carla, I seriously crave and oftentimes cannot step away from my sugar addiction more times than not it's chocolate related/filled.
I will even do a s/f dessert AND I still end up going back for a full-sugar type snack at some point (usually a daily thing) even though I know it's possible I'll feel some nausea after.

My temptation lives in my shadow. It moves around a lot and tries to taunt me. It also likes to disguise itself as healthy food like nuts and cheese and whole grains. It lures me in by telling me that I can eat all I want because it is healthy. Last week it dressed up as almonds. It told me it was good for my heart. I could have one or two (or 10) every time I walked by. almonds have now been evicted from my pantry. I am sure my temptation will find something new to disguise itself as.
In my Wife's BRA! but they are currently reserved for the baby! other than that it would be ceral on the top shelf in the pantry!

Sugar free chocolates with a bit of peanut butter on them. Oh, so, so good. And those coco almonds mixed with the salty/sweet peanuts and pecans. I literally DUMPED a half of the container straight in the garbage on Sunday so I would stop snacking on them since I made my Bariatric Foodie pledge to only eat my scheduled meals and get back on track with my measured eating. Felt good to dump those evil little suckers!

Mine lives in every Asian restuarant I have ever visited (and I have visited A LOT). I have a 25 lb bag of Jasmine Rice under my cabinet right now, and I could dive head first into it right now. I could literally eat rice three meals a day with no problem at all. It's not that the rice is bad for me--it's the quantity in that I used to consume it and all the other yummy Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food that I loved to go with it. I always said there's some Asian somewhere in my family's woodpile. And I look about as Irish/Engish/Anglo-Saxon as they come !!!
