I have my nose packed with gauze soaked in something to shrink the blood vessels and then clamped (just clamping did not work) and that seems to be working,  saw Dr and had blood drawn, so just waiting on PT/INR and CBC to come back.  Hope to know something soon.

Thankful for hospital wi-fi and an iPad... Otherwise this would be really boring since I don't feel bad.  Less freaked out.  We will see if that lasts when the labs come back. I know my body pretty well and I suspect a really high INR.

I don't know the technical terminology, but it is something to do with clotting.  My mom is on blood thinner and has to test her INR regularly

Hi Lora,

I'm glad they got the bleeding to stop. Thanks for the update, because you've been in my thoughts on, and off all day. Hopefully they can resolve this soon, and get you out of there. I'm happy to hear you're connected too. It sure helps alleviate the hospital dreariness and drama. Keep us posted, we're here rooting for you! Go Team OH!
