Yeah, I fault you with sparking that interest!  I saw your post and I am now looking for a "box"...I'm gonna do it, and I'll report back!

Still not getting on the bike....I'm in awe of you bike people!

Oh and Pure Barre....that is another one I want to try, but I suspect I will be an epic fail....I have the grace of an ox!

I get it about the bike thing, but after a while you get over it and can really enjoy the ride.

Oh Ballet? UH, yeah I don't think so, Yoga is as delicate as I get!

The only way I get out in the cold to walk is due to my husband and our dog. My husband will ask if I'm up for a walk, I'll naturally say NO. He'll tell the dog "Mommy is walking with us" and the dog will start jumping around until I get dressed for the COLD.

I love to exercise. It wasn't all that long ago that I was fairly athletic.

But I like to exercise in certains ways, doing certain things, and there are things I absolutely can't stand.

I hate yoga. I don't like team sports, and I don't like group fitness classes.

Yoga bores me. It involves snug clothing and bending into awkward and often exposing positions. I just can't get my brain to shut up long enough to zen out and relax the way I'm supposed to. Team sports bring me back to high school, where I was a drama and forensics geek and was always picked last in gym class. I don't like disappointing people when they expect me to be competitive, and I don't deliver. Group fitness clases are awkward because I'm always the typical fat girl, huffing and puffing in the back, unable to keep up.

I love to work, and I love to sweat, but I prefer activities where I can duck under the water or put on my headphones and completely lose myself in the rhythm of my heart pumping, the music, and my body moving. I love to run. I love to swim and do heavy cardio and weight training like circuits or bootcamps. But these things are no longer comfortable at my weight, and I truly look forward to being down to a size where I can participate fully without my boobs hurting, my arches aching, my ass jiggling, and my gym pants chafing my thighs.

Kelly I'm with the others, do something for just a bit and then keep adding until you're up to an hour. You will progress quickly and you may find that you don't hate it after-all. I hope you are able to find enjoyment in using your body- it's a truly wonderful way to appreciate the gift of surgery!

I don't like to exercise. I hate to sweat. I hate feeling like I can't breathe.  Exercise is my job M W F before i do anything else I go work out.  If I don't make it the first thing I do, it won;t get done and there are too many excuses.

I feel the same as you Kelly.  I have always hated exercising, but the times in the past that I've lost weight, I made myself do it.  Of course, I'd always regain the weight and then some, but hey....here I am.  Until January, I hadn't exercised or been to a gym in a year.  I had really bad feet problems and had foot surgery in July so I was told no exercise by my foot surgeon.  So, it was REALLY hard to start back a few weeks ago.  The ONLY thing that helps me is my husband.  He is a 6'2 really buff guy who won't miss going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week to lift weights.  He says his chest muscles are going to sag if he doesn't go! LOL  So, he always wants me to go everywhere with him, so that is enough to motivate me to go.  I'm kicking, spitting, and screaming most of the way because I don't WANT to, but I do it and when I'm done, I'm glad I did.  SO thank GOD for my husband dedication to the gym!

I am not a big fan of exercise either - I used to love to ride my bike, do spin and kick boxing, now I get out of breath thinking about it - BUT we have a WII and got just dance 3 for christmas - it is so much fun - my incredibly uncoordinated husband even got in to the act and had a blast  -
