Yes
2. Have you dumped just a few times, or does it happen often?
Several time....I don't eat sugar other than a bite of something for a taste...negative reinforcement works well

Sugar

5. Are you able to prevent dumping by watching what you eat?
Yes
6. Do you ever eat things that you know might cause dumping? Like, is it too hard to resist that brownie even though you know it will probably make you sick?
I know mhy limits and I respect them
7. If you do dump, how did you find out that you dump? Like, did you accidentally eat something you thought was sugar free only to find out it wasn't, or did you test yourself on purpose?
I had my first episode early out eating yogurt that I did not realize had suger. Total accident!
8. If you don't dump, do you wish you did? If you do dump, do you wish you didn't?

I am pretty early out but will try to answer as best as possible. Only once has anything happened that i will consider it dumping. I had a small piece of pumpkin roll at work. 30 minutes later i felt faint, dizzy, naseaus, diarhhea..and i was at work. It worked its way out of my system in about 20 minutes and then i was ok. I could have been the roll or it could have been a piece of fruit. Not sure as i haven't had either ever since. In the very beginning post op i would get a tummy ache from SF hot choc. and choc. milk. Not sure if that would be considered dumping or just an adversion .
2. Have you dumped just a few times, or does it happen often?
Just once that i know of..
3. Do you dump on sugar? Fat? Something else?
Would have been sugar..but i can eat small cookies with no problem.
4. Do you know what makes you dump, or are you surprised when it happens?
I was surprised..
5. Are you able to prevent dumping by watching what you eat?
Not sure.
6. Do you ever eat things that you know might cause dumping? Like, is it too hard to resist that brownie even though you know it will probably make you sick?
I can resist most things if i think they might make me dump.
7. If you do dump, how did you find out that you dump? Like, did you accidentally eat something you thought was sugar free only to find out it wasn't, or did you test yourself on purpose?

8. If you don't dump, do you wish you did? If you do dump, do you wish you didn't?
Yes i think i wish i was more sensitive. Other than the SF choc. milk no foods have been an issue with me. I kind of wish i was more sensitive because i have to work extra hard to stay away from temptations. But typically, everything has been hard for me in life (eeyore syndrome here..lol) so it doesn't surprise me that WLS would be a breeze yet tough.
