Thanks!   1st kitty name is Tux, he's almost 10 months old, has extra toes, and a tuxedo, and is a full grown huge cat.   2nd Kitty name is Archie, cream beige stripes, very beautiful and sweet, he's almost 4 months old.  They are half brothers, came from same mother and not sure about the father! :)   Archie doesn't have extra toes, but has a little kink in his tail, can't tell though.

I'm sorry about your kitty! :(

Spend as much time as you can with her.

When My kitty Jordan was dx'ed with cancer, I spent all my free time at home with him, (other than being at work), did not go anywhere not even on weekends, and just be with my kitty.  We were best buddies!  I still miss him, and still cry over him at times, but that is lessening now.  I have two kittens, which keeps me busy and helped me heal.   My kitty Jordan is home with me now in a nice box (I had him cremeated) and have his paw print.

I had a kitty that died suddenly about six years ago, and I still miss her.  I wish I had her pawprint, that's a wonderful idea.  I do have her ashes and I put them in a little bag I made out of her favorite blanket (it's inside an urn).

I decided a while ago that when Cayenne goes, I will have no regrets.  I won't wish I'd spend more time with her or given her more attention or more treats or anything.  She'll get all the time and attention she wants from me and I remember every day it could be the last.

When our cats vomit, it's because they've eaten too much.  One ate a ton of chicken last night on top of her regular meal, and then, in the middle of the night, she vomited up an entire mouse.

I won't tell you what she did with the mouse after.  I'm just glad that my husband was the one who was awake to that.

Lucky for me, my cats are lazy and have not caught any mice in quite some time!

I have two long haired cats. Vomit is a regular event at my place. It is often on my bed and like you, I sometimes wake up to it. You would think you'd hear them hoarking it up, but nope I just sleep through it!

The joys of pet ownership. They are just lucky I love them!

Sometimes I hear them hacking in the middle of the night but can't tell where they are.  Then in the morning I get to play "find the puke."  Unless it's right beside the bed and then I find it as soon as my feet hit the floor - right in the middle of it.

When I hear them in the night I make a mental note to myself...wear slippers in the morning! LOL
