quest protein bars
I got some samples and so far have tried the lemon cream pie and the cinnamon roll. Both were tasty. I nuked them for 15 seconds. I did take a bite of the lemon one before nuking it and nuking it make it significantly better. Both I and my cat preferred the cinnamon roll but both were good. They are so dense though. I'd kind of prefer something a little lighter.

I too just got a sample box in the mail yesterday. So far I tried the coconut cashew YUM! and cinnamon roll. I will have to try and nuke the cinnamon roll, thanks for the idea.
They are a bit dense, but they fill me up and satisfy my craving for something sweet, yet have such good stats. The box I got has the Lemon cream pie, cinnamon roll, coconut cashew, strawberry cheesecake, and peanut butter chocolate. Cant wait to try them all.

Jeez i have been waiting for months to get my sample..have even contacted them in December and they said i was next on the list..here it is the beginning of February almost and no free samples yet. lol I had bought some and liked the almond vanilla and the peanut butter supreme but eventually i started tasting the protein and couldn't eat them. I have some in my cupboard i will try later. Need to try the brownie ones again and the cinn roll sounds good. Very dense. Can only eat a 1/2 at a time. thanks for your review kelly.
I bought single bars to sample them. I got them in less than a week.

Email them and tell them Bariatric Foodie told you to contact them about not having gotten your sample yet. I contacted the director of marketing at Quest when I heard folks were not receiving samples and a few of my readers have emailed them (as they instructed me to have folks do) with a mention of the blog and their bars were mailed shortly thereafter!

Hi Nik. Are you saying that we can get a free sample from Quest if we email them? Over the last 5 months since my surgery, I feel like I have tried almost every bar out there with no success in finding something that I like and I'm hesitant to spend more money on more bars that ends up in the trash.
I ordered two "sample" boxes. One of the original line and one of the newer natural line.
So far I have tried the coconut cashew...(awesome), lemon cream pie, cinnamon roll and this morning I tried a peanut butter and jelly. There are a bunch more flavors to try. I will definitely be ordering a whole box of the coconut cashew and the peanut butter and jelly.
They are extremely filling.....that must be whatever they put in it to make them so high in fiber (17g). I haven't tried warming them yet, I bet that would be tasty. I bought them to have on hand as portable snacks. Depending on the time of day, half of a bar would be enough to satisfy me.
The company offers a flat rate to Maui, only $4.95 for shipping, so it makes it easier for me to order from them. I think the shipment took 3 days to get here via priority mail.
