Oh! Another Random Poll: Default foods

I was going to do a post asking what the heck is up with me and eggs, but...yeah. It's protein (especially since I only eat the whites) so why question it.

Eggs are my "default food." I can eat them for any meal, anytime, with darn near anyTHING and love them.

I scramble them up with shredded lunch meat and veggies and a Laughing Cow Light cheese wedge for a tasty breakfast. The other day I had just a bit of Mushroom Chicken left so I scrambed a few eggs and threw that in the bowl along with (that was yummy). I use eggs to replace rice sometimes. Heck...I've even used eggs as a base for homemade egg foo young.

Do you have a "default food"? One that you can always like any day of the week, any time of day?

If so, what is it?

RNY on 12/14/11 with
3oz of raw chicken breast cubed
1/4 cup pink beans
1 tsp of spicy ranch dry seasoning
Cook that in a frying pan...I sprayed mine with canola cooking spray
Once the chicken is cooked I added 2 tbsp of Guy Fieri's Chipotle Salsa
Remove from heat place in bowl
Place 1 slice of Kraft 2% Sharp Cheese and microwave for 45 seconds
Finishing touch 2 tbsp of Kraft fat free sour cream

I eat string cheese. I eat it as a snack almost everyday....it is quick easy and portable and I love it.

me rich girl you have been to my hole...i mean house. I get 5 dollar bags from walmart and no one is aloud to touch them. they last me 4-5 days a bag.

 My go to food is actually a protein bar.  I can eat one anytime on any given day.  It's take care of my hunger, cravings and drop in blood sugar if need be.  Definitely one of my best friends to have around.

 I am currently a big fan of the Quest Protein Bars but I still eat the Pure Protein Bars that I can get from Walmart too.  I like the Chocolate Peanut Butter and Chocolate Deluxe on the Pure Bars and I like all the flavors from Quest except the Berry Bliss, Strawberry Cheesecake, and the PBJ Bar.  Chocolate Brownie, Peanut Butter Supreme and Coconut Cashew are my favorites.
