What are you eating/doing today? Tuesday

Blah. Just not feeling very pumped today. I'm not tired. I'm just...not. That's the best way I can explain it.

Today is work, then home with the divas then later this evening I'll hit the gym for a workout. Actually, I am rather looking forward to that. I forgot how happy it makes me to go workout. I'm so glad I rejoined the Y. I'm a "Y kind of person." :)

I need to figure out some stuff to do with the divas. The oldest plays Dance Central 2 a lot so she's got some activity going but my younger one (and the largest of two) parks on the sofa and wants to stay there all night. I need to get them both engaged in something that will bond us as a family. That's my only beef with the Y frankly. All the kids programs cost extra and are either geared to little kids or teens. They need some 'tween stuff going on. Might have to go to this month's members meeting and voice that.

Anyhoo..eats. I have no idea. Here's what COULD be on the menu:

1. Slice of WW toast with peanut butter (had that already)
2. A chef salad from the hospital cafeteria
3. A Click Frapp
4. Not sure what I'm making for dinner. Probably something with chicken breasts since I didn't thaw any meat out before I left the house.
5. Maybe Greek yogurt with Fiber One

Today is an "I don't wanna work" day - so I'm not sure what I'm going to accomplish.  I have a list of things to do to keep me busy however, so I'll just start checking them off my list as the day goes by.

So every morning lately I've been drinking a cup of ho****er with lemon.  I read somewhere about it being cleansing - so I decided to give it a shot and see what happens.  If nothing else it gives me an extra 6 oz of water and it warms me up in the mornings!  :)

One bottle of water in.

I'm working on breakfast now - the usual.  0% Fage with pomegranate arils (usually this is frozen cherries but I had a pom I needed to eat up), Splenda, Special K Protein Plus and ground flax.

I have a 16 oz mug of coffee with Splenda and soy waiting for me in about an hour.

For lunch I brought grilled chicken breast, a slice of fresh pineapple and 20 grapes.  Probably will not eat all of it, but I like options.

I forgot to bring my protein bar today, but I have little pre-measured baggies of protein in my desk drawer so I'll probably have one of those on the way home from work.

Dinner - I don't know yet.

Day 2 of detoxing from processed flour and sugars...

B - Protein latte x 2 (60-70 gm protein total)
L - Deli chicken meat and two slices of provolone cheese
D - I'm thinking tilapia or a mushroom, onion and cheese omelette

For snacks, I suspect I'll grab a greek yogurt with SF preserves and/or SF syrup, or a protein bar.  Have to start drinking a LOT more... need H20 or decaf iced tea.  I don't seem to want to drink much anymore and that's got to change...

Happy Tuesday, everyone.

I'm going WILD! First day off liquids!

- scrambled eggs for breakfast,
- a protein shake for a morning snack (Jay Robb Tropical Dreamsicle with skim milk and ice)
- shrimp salad for lunch (2 oz shrimp, 2 tsp light olive oil mayo, chopped in the food processor)

I'll have another protein shake this afternoon, and probably some ricotta cheese with spinach and marinara sauce for dinner, and yet another protein shake this evening.

I spent some time this morning transferring my food records into My Fitness Pal. I've been getting way more protein than I was giving myself credit for!

Getting ready to go for a long walk with my daughter, and I need to work on an assignment for my online Picture Book Writing class.

It must be in the air.....It's a blah day here to! Except I am NOT excited about working out. Didn't feel well last night, so I went to bed early, which means I did not get enough fluids, food, protein, and vitamins. I'm paying for that today!

S- 1 tablespoon low fat p-nut butter
L- Left over turkey spag. sauce w/ mushrooms, g.peppers, and onions and green beans
D- 1/4 cup lentil soup and 2 oz. turkey breast
