sorry you had a bad afternoon, but it is awesome to be a giants fan today! (even if they didn't play their best, they won)

(b) woke up a little late for my interview this morning so just downed some milk on my way out the door.
(l) 1/2 a ham and cheese sandwich (although if you only make a 1/2 is it really a 1/2?)

i have my first class of the semester tonight so i have no idea where the eating is gonna go later. maybe make a shake before hand and some apple slices, and then eat something real for dinner when i get home. maybe the opposite...

So far today:

Breakfast:  Greek yogurt w/strawberries
Lunch: taco casserole (made with ground turkey and black beans, but also some velveeta cheese, so not as low fat as it could have been but SO yummy!)

Planned:

Snack: homemade fruit salad (I know I should have protein with my snack, but I haven't had a problem with this so far and my glucose has been doing well)
Dinner: Either meatloaf or turkey, not sure which yet

After work will be going to the gym and doing 15 minutes on the recumbent bike (usually ends up being about 1.5 miles) then using the circuit training machines.  Takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to complete everything.

After workout: Protein shake

I am never sure how to quantify my "workouts" on days like this.
I unloaded a wheelbarrow (100lbs) of compost and spread it in 3 small garden plots, then tilled said spots. THen I cleaned out the barn - 2 stalls and the alleyway. The fill dirt I use in the barn is in a big pile that has turned to a boulder, so I used a log splitter to get it started and then moved 3 wheelbarrows of dirt to the barn (about 30yrd or so away) and spread it in the stalls and alleyway. I fed the horses and moved a couple bales of hay to be handy at night.

B - pumpkin cheesecake protein shake
L - steamed tilapia w/ provolone cheese, steamed veggies (in case you haven't noticed, I am addicted to the ease and convenience of steamed tilapia!!)
D - rotisserie chicken, steamed veggies
S - pear, turkey pepperoni / Laughing Cow light cheese

 Hi Nik

Spent the morning at the MVA....weird rule that Maryland requires that the state hold the title to your car to register it.  Now I have to find a bill from Honda and go back so they can order it...and they won't take a Department of Defense ID or dependant ID as ID...need to find my birth certificate.  Another two trips to the MVA in my future..

Very suprised that everything wasn't covered in ice since the federal government didn't go in until 11 today...too bad I was already off.

Found Andrews AFB afterwards and really liked the clinic there...much nicer than our old base.

Breakfast:  Hot Click while waiting at the MVA

Lunch:  1/3 of a grilled chicken bowl from Chipolte

Snack:  sugar free peppermint mocha from Starbucks

Dinner:  1 Cup of  red beans and rice with lots of added grilled veggies and andouille and roasted turkey...I have two gallons of leftovers

Thinking of trying my hand at dyeing my hair since the one place I tried here really messed up.  My roots where brighter than a new cooper penny and my hair was bright red.  I am going more for medium brown with a hint of red. They even had the formula of what the lady was using on my hair at the last base.   I HATE finding new places for hair and nails after moving.

Tomorrow is my husband's birthday so we are taking off and spending the day at the Spy Museum in DC and then lunch at one of his favorite places.  Our work gives him half a day off on your birthday.
