OT: Activities for insomniacs?

Coloring. I know, kinda silly.... but relaxing.
Easy housework. Like folding laundry.

The laundry idea is good, too. I have a whole pile of dark (solid and printed) socks that need matched up and put away.

if it is depression coloring, journaling, indoor photography (still trying to catch drops of water / milk / food coloring splashing down).
if it is just busy thoughts then a hot shower, heavy, warm blankets (I even turn down the AC in summer) and just time with my dog. I am living proof on the calming effects of hugging / petting a dog.

Mine is a combo of anxiety and depression (and, ironically, the dr doesn't want to change antidepressants until things are not as acute as they currently are, for fear of having things get worse as we make the switch).
