OT: Project Runway All-Stars gab...

How are folks feeling about All-Stars so far, if you are watching?

 

To tell the truth, I think yesterday’s show was the FIRST that I considered all-stars worthy.

 

And btw…Ms. Piggy is all types of awesome!!!

 

I think I am on Team Rami, although Michael is doing well in this competition too. Mondo isn’t doing nearly as well as I expected. I was sad to see [PERSON’S NAME OMMITTED SO AS NOT TO SPOIL FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T YE****CHED] go home last night. And I still hate Kenley with the passion of a thousand fires. Which is unfortunate because I love HER personal style. If I had the means to rock the pin-up girl style all the time I would totally do it!!!

 

So here are my impressions of this week’s outfits, in case anyone cares:

Rami – Ms. Piggy coined it. “It’s the most garish, flamboyant thing I have ever seen!" But for Ms. Piggy that works.

 

Mondo – Yawn. And I love him so that’s a painful yawn. And the hair was atrocious.

 

Gordana – I agreed with whatshername who is mentoring them. It looked like a damn night gown.

 

Anthony – I was surprised he wasn’t in the top. I LOVED that dress.

 

Michael – Ennhhhh…I mean it was nice but I was surprised by how much the judges loved it.
 

Austin – what the HELL were you thinking??? What woman wants BOWS on her hips?

 

Mila – Yeah. Mod? Ms. Piggy? No…

 

April – SIGH…I wanna believe in her. I really do…

 

Jerrell – was it just me or was that dress seriously FUGLY

 

Cara – for all the trouble she caused everyone else, her dress wasn’t all that either!

 it's the same thing with michael as it was on his regular season! everyone watching thinks ehhh, everyone in the competition is like oh he is so going home, and then he goes and wins! lol. i'll admit i have a bit of a crush on him, he's so my type it's painful (ya know besides the not being straight part haha) but i'm just never that impressed.

april is definitely my favorite. she was in her season too, her style is the most like i would dress if i could get away with wearing anything. and mondo is so freakin adorable i wish he was putting his a-game on! i'm upset (contestant) went home last week, i've always loved her too, reminds me of betsey johnson (okay probably gives away who i mean). 

i loved austin's minus the bows, but it definitely wasn't for miss piggy. i don't like mila, she seems like such a ***** i'm with you on gordana, anthony and kenley. i always hated kenley, she just seems irritating. did you notice they NEVER show jerrell in the workroom? i always forget he's even there! i'm pretty sure the first time i saw his dress/idea is when the models were getting ready. 

kara, i just don't like. i didn'****ch pr yet during her season and the first time i was exposed to her was on the sundance channel's show all on the line and she was just rude. and i'll be honest i did not like rami's dress at all. i think he should have done the fabric or the tacky ruffles, not both. it was just too much. 

 we can't be the only two watching! 

have you been watching the 24 hour catwalk? my dvr only recorded the second half for some reason last night. i can't decide how i feel about it yet

I LOVE Project Runway.

I agree with you, NIK.  I usually love Mondo's outfits but not last night.  Rami's dress was wild but as they said,  any other challenge it would be on the bottom but for Miss Piggy it works. 
Those two plus Jerrell and Michael are my favorites usually. 

Mila refused to create a dress for the challenge and deserved to go home.
Austin should know better than to put a big old bow across a woman's behind.  Even if he wraps it around to the sides. 
Gordana wasn't a superstar when she was on before.  I have yet to like anything she has done.
Kenley's voice grates on my nerves.  Sometimes I like her outfits,  sometimes not.

Hey, if Austin doesn't know better about that hat he had on his head, then what would he know about a bow on the hip?!   Did you see the awful dresses that he and Santino made on their "road" show?  I think I am not his fan.

 I love the original version of the show, but am not at ALL impressed with the All-Stars version.  Just... boring (and I couldn't believe that the  black dress with the feathers did NOT win last week... I didn't really like Austin's dress that DID win).

Austin's dress was ok. I didn't hate it but I agree that Michael's black feather dress was WAY better. I think they were afraid of an Austin-hissy if he didn't win.

That  would scare me, too, LOL!
