For the hotties in the house...

I posted a picture of the above yesterday on the Bariatric Foodie Facebook Wall and challenged folks to guess what was in it, using the following clues:

1) although it generally looks carby, the base for this food actually has great protein and
2) If I had to describe the main protein source  as either alpha or omega, I'd go with the latter

My Foodies on Facebook guessed the two main ingredients correctly! Luckily you don't have to (although you are welcome to take a crack at it before clicking the handy-dandy link below):

I make dishes like this one all the time. I don't usually post them on BF because they contain ingredients many are not familiar with and that would require a special purchase. But my Foodies said "Nay! We want the recipe!" So here it is.

Check out my lunch dish for this week on Bariatric Foodie!

That's right Nik, you get the gold star for the day! I would never have thought up that combination of ingredients! Can't wait to try it. We love all of the ingredients that are in it. Can't say I have ever used fish sauce , but one of my former students Mother was Phillapino and used to cook for us a few times a year and every dish had fish sauce. Delish! I also am going to try out your curried fish stew. MMM I loves me some curry. Karen
