vitamin check in
I'm only a little over a week post op and I'm having one heck of a time getting in my vits'...
so far I've had 1 multi
1 calcium
my doctor doesn't require iron or b12 yet but I have them..... waiting for my first appointment next week for my post op appointment.
my question is the calcium... I have liquid calcium and I seem to only be taking one dose of that each day. I can't seem to get in the 3 doses needed. I take the multi in the morning and then again in the evening. You would think I could divide up the calcium throughout the day wouldn't ya?

I'm not sure what exactly your question is about the calcium. Can you set an alarm to remind you when to take it. You can take it with your multi both times and that way you'd be getting two doses in.
And just thought I'd mention - your doc may not require iron, but your body does.

Why not? If there is iron in your multi, you won't absorb that iron if you take the multi and calcium together. But you can take them together.
Since you'll need more iron than what's in a multi anyway, it makes sense to me to just take the multi and calcium together and then take all your iron separately. Basically, that lets you just take four dose of vitamins a day instead of five.
