Back to work
I originally planned to go back after 1 week but my co-workers convinced me to scheducle myself two weeks off.
1 week would be tomorrow and I can tell you I am plenty glad I do not have to go back to work tomorrow.
I have a desk job and I am only taking Tylenol for pain occasionally but I simply don't have the endurance yet. I am kind of bored but I don't really feel like doing anything much yet.

i had my surgery 12/2 and gallbladder removed also. I too have a desk job but that includes, moving files up and down from drawer to drawer, i dont want to return on 1/9 and am planning to get another week or two off from my Dr. only because i am not risking or pushing myself to do more than what my body may not be able to handle.
What type of work do you do? my worry is that although the incessions look pretty much healed, its the inside that IS NOT.

Good luck tomorrow. I go back tomorrow too. I've had almost 3 weeks off and I have to say that I am ready! I originally wasn't going to take last week but my Dr. highly recommended it. I'm glad I took it but the last 4 days got a little boring. It will be interesting to see if I can make it to the gym after an 11 hour work day. I'm still getting tired easy but I'll give it a try:)
I work for the local government in heating and a/c so I do heavy lifting from time to time that is why my Dr. had me of for 4 weeks did not want me to lift over 10 pds the first 4weeks go figure it sucked was really bored. Any way thanks for the good lucks I am sure that it is going to be tiring the first few days getting back into the grind of things.
