Does anyone know of cognitive impairment being a complicaiton of plastic surgery?

It's an important question, there's someone in my life this pertains to.

I don't have an answer, but there is a plastic surgery board that might get you more responses.

Good luck!

Any use of general anesthesia can cause a variety of short term cognitive issues, but some kinds of plastic surgery don't use general anesthesia.  It is also possible for someone to have a small stroke as a result of a blood clot after surgery (but, again, this is not specific to having plastic surgery as opposed to any other kind of surgery).

It would help to know what KIND of cognitive impairment you are talking about.  Since our brain controls the entire body... thinking, feeling, motor skills, etc... almost anything can fall under the heading of "cognitive impariment"
