my latest Greek yogurt creation

I had to find something to do with a bunch of pistachios.

32 oz plain Greek yogurt
1 package sugar free pistachio pudding mix
couple spoonfuls of Splenda
handful of pistachios, chopped up (I put them in a ziploc and smacked them with a hammer - fun!)
about 3/4 cup no sugar added cherry pie filling.

Yummy.  It would be even yummier with a handful of sugar free chocolate chips, but I don't have any.  It's plenty yummy without them, though.  I'm gonna put some Cool Whip free on a dish of it later.

So you went with the pudding?  Cool!  Thanks for sharing the recipe...I think I'll try it sans the fresh pistachios - I always loved pistachio pudding when I was a kid!  I have a billion pecans around...any ideas other than pies?

I'd have skipped the pistachios too if I didn't have a million or so to use up.

I can get no sugar added cherry pie filling at Meijer or Kroger.  I don't think there is such a thing as sugar free cherry pie filling since all fruit has natural sugar in the form of fructose.

No place around here has sugar free chocolate chips, which is why I don't have any.  I ordered some from Amazon.com before but it was really expensive for chocolate chips.  A friend sent me some another time, which she got at a Walmart in another state.  I could actually use a few regular chocolate chips and not dump, but I don't really want to be stuck with a whole bag of chocolate chips anyway.

Thanks for the recipe! I'm addicted to pistachios! I eat them every single day!
