Our surgery dates are the same, and yes, I've had Wendy's chili and loved it, too!

It's still a regular for me, and I'm well into the solid foods stage.  Wend's chili is suprisingly nutritious & can help with the protein intake!

Isn't it amazing how good new food tastes. I even loved the full liquid stage which was basically creamed soups. Wendy's chili was never on my wish list anyway so it still isn't. Chinese food is so good, however I suspect that it has some sugar is many dishes. The thought of McDonald's (or fast food) cheeseburgers is nasty. I can't believe I used to eat them.

Just told the hubby today that I was craving Wendy's Chili. THOUGH, I'm thinking of making some turkey chili.  Since I'm only a week out and still in the puree stage I'm going to wait till next week to ask the Doc if it would be an OK thing.

Off all the fast food stuff that's out there,  Wendy's chili has to be the best choice for anybody.

Oh I LOVE Wendy's chili, it's a staple in my diet and I am 6 months post-op. I usually get them to add cheese which ups the protein. Here is a link to the nutritional info.  http://www.wendys.com/food/Nutrition.jsp

Does the ground beef bother anyone in Wendy's chili or is  it pretty soft?  I would love to try it, but ground beef is my enemy right now... I even have to puree homemade chili or the slightest chunk or bit of gristle sets me off on a vomiting binge.
