What are you eating/doing today? Wednesday!

Ok, so yesterday's eating plan was an epic fail. I didn't eat a lot but I also didn't eat what I had planned out. Today, hopefully, will be better. I think I need to put a protein shake into my evening routine as I get the hella munchies these days late in the evening and shakes tend to...um...shut me down!

Today I am doing my mom's laundry for her and taking it over to her, donating a bunch of stuff to Goodwill (purge for this mythical move that may or may not ever materialize) and trying to occupy the girls because I know they are bored being in the house these last few days. So...not much really ;)

Eats (as I know them):

1. I'm about to make an egg scramble of some kind. I am craving eggs. Might add a high fiber tortilla and make it a breakfast wrap.

2. Protein shake of some sort.

3. Either some tuna or some cottage cheese

4. Tonight is church dinner

5. A hot protein drink if I want something sweet

My eats lately have been a fail.  Seems I'm munching all the time - which clearly needs to change.  So, I'm planning in more food.... and I'll see if that helps.

Packed for at work today:

powercrunch bar
nutrisystem veggie chili
salad w/cheese & dressing

Dinner & evening snack, not quite sure yet.  Keeping the kids busy tonight with Bollywood dance classes, won't get home until nearly 8pm.

Have a good day!

Bollywood dance sounds fun! I love any kind of dance workout.

I too am planning more food (NOT more calories for all who are reading, there is a distinction), more frequently. Usually when I do that my pouch goes "whoa, whoa WHOA! That was your head saying more food not me!"

I have been eating too many calories lately..... I'm surprised my pants still fit.  Scale is "only" up 2lbs -- and my plumbing has been sluggish -- but I can't stand myself.

I wish that I could do Bollywood with the kids, I can't wait to watch.  Shocked that my 8yo son was willing!

Nothing too exciting here. Finishing my morning shake. Since I'm still in liquids, it will just be experimenting with different shake flavors and a few ounces of 'others' today. But I'm finally getting the hang of the routine and schedule - all for it to change up tomorrow when I hopefully get cleared for the next stage!

I'm having my usual GNC Total Lean Shake, first breakfast; second breakfast is vitamins, third is yogurt.

My bathroom habits became clock-settingly regular after surgery, after a lifetime of IBS and diarrhea, but the last few days my bowels have been revisiting those pre-op days.  I'm not sure what's causing it, so I'm going to go back to basic type foods today and tomorrow and see if there's an improvement.  Weeks 5-11 were very scheduled, planned, and boring (not much variety) as far as eating went, and the last 2 weeks I've tried to be more "normal" at the urging of my dietician...I haven't liked the results.
So the rest of my day will look like this:
Morning snack: fruit
Lunch: 1 cup of soup w/cheese
Early afternoon snack: GNC Total Lean Shake
Late afternoon snack: turkey & cheese plate (3 oz turkey, 1 slice of cheese, lately I've been melting it cuz I've been freezing and wanting hot stuff)
Dinner: 1 cup of soup w/cheese
Evening snack: another GNC Total Lean Shake or a yogurt

What am I doing today?  Well, I should go to the pool and swim, but my best friend who moved away over the summer is here with her family this week, staying with me, so I think today is bestie day...fancy coffee, Target clearance browsing, and mani/pedis!

Good Morning!

Im 'off' today. Cant really put my finger on it...depressed, sad, nervous about surgery tomorrow, excited to off work though. The husband lost his job, so he will be home. Ugh. 2012 HAS to be better. My back is STILL killing me. Maybe the pain killers will help. Waiting on approval for a with drawl from my 401k and the wait is excruciating.

Did better with my eating yesterday. Pretty much stuck to my plan...except for the slice of apple pie that was handed to me.

Eats for today:

Huge coffee w/ cream
Weight Control Oatmeal
Pear
Krab salad from the salad bar and a banana
Mocha Latte shake if needed
Not sure whats for dinner. The hub has been cooking since he is home.

Most likely will have another snack before bed since I wont be able to eat. Hopefully the blood sugar stays ok. I always have something in the morning, at least coffee. This will be my first 'fast' since the RH started.

Work, Sigh, Not really working, Sigh...it is a ghosttown today, Sigh...we have maybe a dozen people here today.  I took all my time for my surgery this year, so I'm here...paroozing the web.

As for my plans, going to Lowes with hubby at lunch to get a torque wrench or something so he can finish installing the monster tires he bought for our jeep - getting the lift installed on Friday.  Merry Christmas to us.  Toying with the idea of getting a BodyBugg for myself, but haven't decided for sure.  So will research that a bit as well...

Have my workout tonight - bicycle time then bowflex.  I think I'll do some rowing too...As for food, had oatmeal this morning, have some string cheese for a snack.  Lunch is Navy Bean Soup and IDK for dinner yet.  Have a giftcard that I got for Christmas to Carrabbas - maybe?  IDK yet what I'd order there though...

Leaped out of bed this a.m. and put on my swimming clothes and went to the pool for a Aqua Zumba class. What fun! Got home, showered, sorted laundry, and made myself a decent breakfast. The remainder of the day is spent painting trim and prepping the walls for full paint job tomorrow.

B: egg+egg white/turkey sausage/1/2 banana
L: Spinach salad with turkey breast meat
S: yogurt & honeydew melon
D: Southwestern Chicken Barley Stew
S: string cheese and walnuts
