Christmas CHECK-IN. What'd you eat today???

Oh I forgot to mention I had some of ze dreaded...WINE! Found this concoction that was really good. I had 8 oz. diet lemonade + 2 oz. chardonnay. It was like a more tart mimosa...or something.

I had a horrible day thanks to the other half being a huge PR#$CK! I couldnt eat but finally forced some ham and a few scalloped potatoes down about 5. Went back to bed and just had a few more potatoes. What used to be my favorite holiday got ruined by someone else acting like and a$$hole. I am a bit upset because I have been doing really well. I work in a nursing home and the families of the residents have bombarded us with junk food for the last week and half and I have been able to resist. Good thing I wasnt there today after he pissed me off or I may have really flew off the band wagon.. Oh well back to the good stuff tomorrow..:/

Breakfast- 1 egg with a dollar sized pancake
Dinner - turkey, ham, tablespoon of homemade cranberry relish, tablespoon of dressing, a bite of green bean casserole.
Evening - turkey, a teaspoon of mayo, teaspoon of cranberry relish.
2 bites of cheesecake.

I will finish off with a protein shake just to cover my bases, because I have had more non protein items than I normally do. I planned to just enjoy the day, and the 24 folks we shared dinner with.

Tomorrow, back to a more closely monitored eating plan.

It was weird. Had 2 oz of medium rare filet at 1pm which has been pouch good before. Felt that meat was lying in the pouch all day long. Just trying to drink fluids and keep hydrated. Weird.

Breakfast was a French Vanilla shake w/a sprinkle of nutmeg which made it taste like eggnog! Oh, yeah, and a small banana.

Had a late lunch at a local restaurant for their Christmas special of Turkey with all the trimmings, so ate 1/2 of the turkey slices, 4 bites each of mashed potatoes and stuffing with gravy, half of the squash & carrots, then took the rest home for dinner tonight. Had the half-piece of pumpkin pie as an afternoon snack, just going to heat up the leftovers now!

Of course, had my carb-coma nap when I got home. Not much I can do about that, but LUV stuffing with gravy, so I just go night-night.

Oh, yeah--s/f hot mocha.

 Way to much is what I had....

B- isopure and a bite of french toast casserola...SF syrup

L/D SOme Chicken and some ham. a small perogi, peas, dessert was a cookie

late D a piece of ham and a half of a roll. 


snacks, a few chips and just now I had some soy nuts. 

My numbers work out to be good but why oh why do I feel like I over ate....

 Chocolate soymilk protein shake, Dannon Light n' Fit Peach Yogurt, and Crystal Lite "lemonade". I'll probably have some one-yolk scrambled eggs and another shake, if I can choke it down. Sigh...two weeks out on Christmas sucks.

I've stuck with my own guidelines and did pretty good.  Breakfast was a protein decaf coffee.  Lunch I had some leftover prime rib and a yummy cookie that I made from Nik's recipe.  I made the flourless oatmeal cookies but instead of raisins I added chopped up sugar free chocolate and I added protein powder.  They came out heavenly.
Went out to dinner and salad, top sirloin steak and some baked potato with sour cream and butter.
My snacks today are a sugar free fudgecicle, a square of sugar free chocolate, popcorn, a protein drink and another cookie.

Deviled eggs for lunch

Dinner I feel like I ate the whole turkey. A little miserable even 4 hours later. I haven't done well with meat so I'm really surprised I kept it down. Also had a couple bites of potatoes and gravy. Again I didn't cook for the first time since I was married 22 years ago. It's a little weird that I left all the baking to my girls but I just cant trust my sugar issues.
My luck I won't dump and be rght back where I was.

 I've been grazing all day. What didn't I eat is a better question.
My favorite thing was cabbage salad. I ate a lot of cabbage salad!
I also am completely amped up because I got a kcup coffee maker. I have a big love for coffee. Funny because I really didn't drink much coffee before Rny.
My starbuck's  bill will go down.
