I didn't do too badly yesterday. Yay!

So that means I did NOT wake up feeling gross and actually just had a right pleasant breakfast.

Today is...shopping! The divas have money to spend and so do I. We're headed to Arundel Mills (MD's "answer" to Mall of America? Um...not by a long shot!) wherein I will dive headfirst into H&M and won't come back up until I have bags full of cute clothing. Squee!

Eats:

1. Leftover "Christmas Eggs": eggs with diced red and green peppers, onions and freshly grated cheeses (Parmesan, mild cheddar and extra sharp cheddear) with diced and sauteed turkey smoked sausage in it, 1/2 an avocado diced and 2 tbsp salsa. YUMMY! These are the moments when being 4 years post-op are a beautiful thing. I mean you guys are in the splendor of shrinkage but...I can eat! ;)

2. I'll probably do a protein shake for lunch. I am also on a mission to find me some Click to day.

3. I'm about to throw some SW chicken in the crockpot (ridiculously simple: put 1 lb. chicken breasts in the crockpot with an entire jar of salsa. In the last half hour of cooking throw in a brick of cream cheese and some black beans.)

4. I need to make some sort of dessert. I like dessert before bed and I have tons of recipes for good ones. Just gotta pick one.

Hey Nik, do you serve the SW Chicken over rice or something like that for the Divas or do they just eat it as is?

My youngest eats it, oldest doesn't. She'll have beef stew or chili. Youngest eats it like I do, straight out the bowl. Might have some corn bread.

I enjoyed yesterday, but like Nik I didn't feel any food hangover this morning. I still have a house full and will have about 25ish people in and out of the house today.

B: nectar/click protein iced latte
S: ham and cheese roll up
L: turkey, cranberry relish and brussels sprouts
S: buffalo chicken dip with celery
D: meatloaf with salad.

Maybe something sweet, and maybe just a little Greek yogurt with Torani which chocolate and raspberry syrup and cheesecake pudding mix...mmm liking that the more I think of it.

Oh yeah....I will be making that tomorrow!  Sounds so good.  Thinking I will add some corn and jalapenos to it!

Thanks, Nik!
