a funny thing happened at my mammogram

I was a little nervous because this was my first mammogram since I had that Inflammatory Breast Cancer scare a little over a year ago (the biopsy was benign even though the physician and tech at the breast center and the surgeon who did the biopsy all expected it to be malignant).  The tech took the 4 pictures then pulled them up on her screen to look at them and then said she needed to re-do some.  I, of course, am starting to worry about what she is trying to get a better look at.  Once she was done, she showed me the pictures (along with the previous normal mammogram and then the ones 4 months later that caused them to ask for the biopsy) and was showing me where had put a marker to mark the biopsy scar and various things.  Then she mentioned that she finally gave up trying to get the one view with no small skin folds in it because I have so much loose skin!  I couldn;t help but laugh out loud!

We decided that not being able to get good mammogram pictures should be grounds for medical insurance to cover a breast reduction and lift!

(The pictures look fine again, BTW.)
