At work I call it Diseased...because the front office girls don't stay home when they're sick and they want to infect us all.

As an HR peep, I call it, "stay away from work!" : )

Be happy.

Our HR has recently gone all KGB on what defines "working from home" and since we're in the midst of a period of time when I technically am not supposed to take off work, I've had to go rogue. They should be grateful. I could be bringing my germs into the office, but I have graciously worked from home (against company policy).

I don't have a name for it, but I share your pain... a cold sore just popped up on my lip yesterday so I'm sufficiently grossed out (thank you, stress from work).

But as they say, misery loves company... we can be miserable together (albeit in different ways)!

Here's to hoping you're feeling much, much better soon... take care of yourself so you can enjoy the holidays, Nikki.

Much happiness and well wishes for the season to you and yours...

I call it caving up or caving in.  Put on the slob clothes, don't go out.  Nobody sees me.  I don't see anyone.  Works for mental health days or physical health days.

Hope you are feeling much better by now.  Remember to take care of yourself always!

I'd typically call it a "****storm of maladies", but to be honest, your condition sounds more like a "****tsunami". LOL
