Wellesse liquid multivitamin
It would be a TERRIBLE vitamin for us. It has about as much nutrition as a gummy vitamin, which hopefully everyone here knows are just a tiny bit healthier than a gummy bear. Like gummy vitamins, the Wellesse multi is missing a TON of stuff. It has NO vitamin K and NO minerals - no copper, no iron, no zinc, no selenium, no potassium, no iodine, no magnesium, no manganese, no chromium....
Actually, I've seen gummies I would rank above this multi. And you all know how I feel about gummy vitamins, right?
The really sad and scary thing is that Wellesse seems to be marketing their vitamins to WLS patients now. Just remember, anyone can put the word "Bariatric" on their product. It does NOT mean their product is actually good for us.

You need at least 500 mg maggensium for every 1000 mg of calcium. Ratio calcium to magnesium shall be 2:1 (or 50% magnesium - at least IMO- for calcium) so for every 500 mg of calcium we need at least 250 mg of magnesium.

I gave up and ordered some bariatric advantage chewables for now. I will look into the vitacost after I can swallow pills. I needed to order a few other things from bariatric pantry so ended up with free shipping and they ship fast. In the meantime, i'll just take extra of the Wellese.
Thanks for keeping me straight!
The chewables - as long as you like them - are so easy. I do like mine. I was always looking to find some that have calcium and magnesium together. Otherwise I get sooooo constipated. Then I take additional magnesium at night.
I do like the vitacost chewable. $9 for 30 dosages - 1000 each. ( i take 4 chewables and then one extra dosage capsules or pills). or if I wanted all chewables - that would be $13.5 for a month supply for 1500 per day.
That beats the monthly $22.50 from BA. And on top of that - those have magnesium. BA - does not, not enough anyway.
But there are sweet. Now - I have no problem with them. Earlier - I probably could not take them.
And BA have Splenda - I become allergic to Splenda... Vitacost has sugar and stevia. can take them.
