Making a case for carbs...
Well yeah but you run a cabillion miles. Your body uses those carbs. I eat that? One of two things happens: carb coma (I still get those!) or blood sugar nosedive. Urgh.
Rule #1 for Nikki: starchy carbs must ALWAYS have protein!
As far as the goal weight thing, it really is true that eventually your eyes catch up with your body. About six months ago I began noticing how much smaller I am than I used to be. I don't see fat Nikki anymore. So I think that helps. It's a hard sell to try and convince yourself you are a success and are fine if you just don't see it.
