What's your favorite vanilla protein powder recipe?
My favorite is to make a shake with one cup soy milk, one scoop vanilla protein and one tablespoon of Maxwell house International French vanilla cafe mix (sugar free, decaf). I put it all in the blender and blend, then add a handful of ice and blend some more. Yum!

Place it in the freezer to set for an hour. Nuke for 20 seconds before serving to make it scoopable. Makes four servings.
I am trying to work out a RNY friendlier version of this, which is my fave use for vanilla protein, but I can't drink a whole one. That would be called "blood sugar death" but it is quite yummy. It's a shake they serve at my gym that I taught myself to make at home (for $5 less):

but the starbucks low-fat or whatever it is vanilla rtd frap that you buy in the grocery stores, one or two scoops of vanilla protein depending on the day, and ice in the blender.
it's easier to get down without the ice but i like it better with it. go figure.
