So you might remember our dear friend Miranda did NOT choose to have RNY (boo) but VSG. Her friend Emily is a RNYer though, so no worries. She's going to play a BIG part in Miranda's post-op life.

In today's episode, Miranda has had surgery but things take a turn for her and Hatcher is faced with a dilemma. This is a "you pick" episode so be sure to take the poll while you're on the page to decide what happens next!

OK, so I gotta share why I voted the way I did: right after my wedding I stopped talking to my mother. We'd had a complicated relationship normally but she did some things around my wedding that I just could not forgive and decided not to talk to her for about 6 months. Until I was in the hospital for 8 days, after my cousin blabbed about my abscess & emergency surgery.... I would have rather she not know about what was going on but I did give her credit for caring about my health and relented. So I feel for Miranda and her hurt from her family. I'd expect Hatcher to do what I asked my husband to do - respect my wishes and follow my lead.

Good advice. But you may remember that Miranda expressly told him NOT to include her family. So if he followed her wishes, he'd ignore the call. ;)

yep, that's how I voted. Sometimes relenting from estrangement can be healthy and a start for growth; other times, we have to cut those toxic relationships out of our lives.

I personally think Hatcher was sort of having a freak out moment. So far he's been pretty level headed about everything but Lord knows when men freak out...they FREAK OUT!
