this is a great idea. You know I have been on a mission to find another way to take calicum. the ba chewy ones leave such an aftertaste in my mouth that I just cant force myself to take another one. How do you like the iron from iherb.com its so easy to take for me

It's the same iron I've been taking for a couple years now, Sundown Perfect iron.  But it was a very good deal.  The Sundown Perfect iron is out of stock on there now.  I asked my partner to sign in and buy a bottle of iron and one of vitamin C since it was such a great deal and he went to do it the next day, I think, and it was out of stock.  And still is, I just checked today.  How can they be out that long?

Which ones do you have to order from Bariatric Advantage to get the starburst like ones and not these awful chalky things that I ended up with.  I thought I was ordering the starburst type ones...anyone give me an item number or anything?  I'm super new to this

Not sure about an item number but when you look on the website you can identify them because they come in a bag NOT a big pill bottle. They have different flavors too, raspberry, caramel, lemon & chocolate I think. I'm partial to the raspberry and caramel.

I don't mind the Upcal D but I never can use it in a beverage. No matter how much I stir, it tastes gritty to me. I've been blending it in applesauce which works great except it's a hassle to take on the go. I bought some bites for when I am out and will use the Upcal when i'm home. The only other problem I have is...I have to use the applesauce as a snack because I cannot fit it in with my meals. I'll have to try the Cool Whip trick. Thanks for sharing.

also how many packets do we need a day of the upcal d and does it have a citrate in it

Each packet is 500 mg calcium citrate, so we need three or four a day.  I like to do one or two of them a day and then use the Calcet creamy bites once or twice a day because they are yummy.  But I like the Upcal D a lot.

What's the last one there?  I can't quite make out the brand and it doesn't look familiar to me.

Great idea Kelly! I now have chewable from Celebrate, capsules from Celebrate, capsules by Citrical (petites) and my favorite Calcet bites. I just ordered Upcal D powder and Bariatric chews... one way or another I'm gonna get my calcium in!!! I still haven't found the iron pills you like, but am looking.

Thanks for the tip!!!
