tired of chalky chewable calcium?

But don't wanna try to get down those big horse pills?  And find the good chewy ones too expensive to use all the time?

I'm just all excited about getting my second dose of calcium in already today, and excited about how I got it in.

One packet of Upcal D powder,  mixed in a couple spoonfuls of Cool Whip, then served on top of some pumpkin cheesecake Greek yogurt.  Much, much better than those chalky chewables and those big horse pills!

I bought a huge bottle of the chalky chewable wild berry because I didn't know any better and that flavor was better than the cinnamon but I just ordered some of the creamy chew things Kelly mentioned in another post.  Never thought of mixing the powder stuff in cool whip.  I may give that a try too!

Thanks for the info.

i don't find the bariatric chews at all chalky..the ones that look like starbursts and they take over my need for candy i think.  Its my sweet after dinner treat.  But i get tired of taking them all the time too.  I LOVE the raspberry ones and carmels.  I think i might have to order some of that powder..lol

The chewy ones aren't chalky.  But the hard chewable ones are.  I think they are, anyway.  They kind of resemble a big sweetart only, you know, not yummy like sweetarts.

I really love sweetarts.

I bought the bariatric advantage mint chewables. They are disgustingly chalky. Now I know...

If you are referring to the BA chews, you need six to eight a day.

Yes, you'll need to take at least 6 of them because, unlike the tablets containing 500mg of calcium citrate, the chews only have 250mgs. So, you have to double your dose.  It sounds good until you get the bill.  I ordered two bags of the lemon (I love them!) and have gone through them in just a few weeks.  I am back on tabs after tomorrow until I decide if I want to pay more long term.

The chews were nice too because they were easy to eat at work as I ofter have very little time to stop for the vitamins.
