I am about to start the puree stage of my diet this week. I am looking for some ideas, what were your favorite puree recipes? What are some staples that I need to purchase?

Hi good luck girl heres what i have done ...
1)Ricotta chesse  with spagetti sauce and melted chesse on top it's good
2) mash potato with shredded low fat motzerella alittle of butter for taste
3) I put peeled potatoes with water let it boild when potatoes are soft and veggies they will get soft  and chesse and ur good to go ;0)
4) beans ( real soft ) with chesse
Theses are very simple now my doctor told me along as u blend it you really can't try anything but little at a time to see if ur stomach can Handel it

Definately eggs, i would scramble them and puree them with a little sour cream that probably settled the best for me. I also did chilli, mashed potatos, tuna salad, chicken salad. Those were my basics. Last night i made some chicken enchiladas for my husband and pureed up the chicken mixture that i put inside the tortillas and it was awesome! Nice change from the regular stuff. I also had apple sauce on hand for when i was nauseated or had to take pain meds to get something in my pouch.
