Hey.. was going to mention to you that fatsecret.com has their Calorie Counter app for iphones too.  this is what I use on my android phone and its super easy.  Has the best database I've found so far.. so when you asked what I do about eating out, etc, most chains have their nutritioin info in that database.

Thanks.  I'll look at it.  I have aps on my iphone, it's a question of just doing it, and I don't.

Doing well today except for the two (well, 1 1/2, one was small) gingerbread cookies that someone baked and brought in.  Unfortunately, I was craving gingerbread cookies on Sat and with TOM, I'm weak.  But I enjoyed them.

Well, I managed to eat okay today, but I HAVE to start logging my food!
I had a slice of whole grain toast with peanut butter and low sugar jelly
for breakfast, a deviled egg, a cup of homemade chili, a handful of
cashews,  cheesecake yogurt and lots of tea.  I am going to drink lots
more hot tea because I love it, it helps me get my fluids in and I'm not
a fan of "water". It also keeps me busy when I'm tempted to do mindless
snacking.  Tomorrow is as good a day as any to start my food journal.

I had a great day yesterday again.  I'm really glad we're doing this.  I know I give myself "permission" to eat crap way too often when I'm not logging and I make much better choices when I am.

I was out during a meal time again yesterday, so I had another taco bell burrito ... not terrible.  I had been letting myself get a small or medium onion rings from burger king as a "treat" or a "snack" when I'd been over in Iron Mountain (the town that's 30 minutes away and has most civilized restaurants/stores).  I looked up the calories in the medium, with the zesty sauce and that was enough to stop that habit.  My burrito from taco bell has less calories and 21 grams of protein.

Here's my day yesterday:

breakfast: click
snack: protein bar
lunch: lean cuisine
snack: cottage cheese & strawberries
snack: mcdonald's coffee w/ cream
dinner: taco bell burrito
lns: red bell pepper & hummus

totals: 1588 calories
101 grams of protein
156 grams carbs

And I worked out too! :D
