I'm happy for you that it's done and you're on the other side and doing well.
We'll see you on the losers' bench!

I'm glad to hear that your doing well. On the day of my surgery I could barely move from the bed to the chair. I can't believe your walking already.

I hope the rest of the recovery process goes smoothly for you.

I am very nervous of DVT so I am pushing myself to walk. I am concerned though, I have a very weird dent on the left side of my belly. Waiting for th nurse to come see me to have her look at it.

I had a dent on the left side, right were the largest incision was. I worried about it at first as well. However, part of that is because of the amount of swelling in the area. For my surgeon at least, that left incision was where the actual work was done, the other incisions are for the camera, drain tubes, things that werent necessarily moved around a lot during the surgery. That left incision as my surgeon told me, is where the action is. LOL

After a couple of weeks, it was gone. Now 7 months out, the scar is considerably smaller and it's like a dimple. I don't really notice it.

Good luck to you!

Congratulations, glad it went well and you are up and moving already.

My surgery was 9 days ago, and I was up and walking pretty quick too. I just finished walking with my WII for 10 minutes non stop, which is huge for me. I haven't walked ten minutes at a time in almost ten years. LOL. Yipppeeeeeeeee

We will survive this, and be much better for it.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Awesome!! Congrats. I was up as soon as they let me as well for fear of clots. Walk, walk walk! I cruised those halls every hour and I know I felt much better for it. Each time I got out of bed it was a little easier. Glad your procedure went well!! Take care.

I had that dent too. Later I had an adverse reaction to the internal stitches that held my abdominal muscles together, so it had to be removed. When it was the dent disappeared. I  assume when your stitch disolves completely the dent will go away as mine did.
