Congratulations on your weight loss!!!
That's what I am hoping for!!!  I lost 44 pounds in 1 month and loved it, hope I keep on loosing like that for sure!

I beleive everyone looses weight differently thats for sure.  I may not loose 40 pounds next month, who knows I may loose more maybe less.

If it would make you feel better, check with your surgeon, and make sure everything is ok.

Good Luck on your new journey.

Take Care,

Congratulations.  That's excellent. I'm not sure if that is too much or not. But i would think if you are feeling good and you are getting everything you need from your food than it would be wonderful.

The amount that you lose is also dependant on your starting BMI.  In general weight loss is similar in terms of percentage excess body weight.  I have lost 70 lbs including 25 lbs pre-op since I started my journey (I'm 3.5 months post-op).  Percentage-wise, we may be similar, because I was a light-weight.

Just remember to keep that protein up, exercise, drink fluids, and take those vitamins!

i think losing 70 lbs in 2 months is great!!! Keep up the good work. Can anyone tell me how you get the little graph at the end of your comment that shows your weight and your goal weight?

If you're concerned about how rapidly you're losing weight, you may want to just make a quick call to your surgeon to check in and get his/her opinion about the weight loss.  70 pounds in two months seems insanely fast to me.  I don't know what kind of load that puts on your liver and other organs to process breaking down so much fat and protein.  If your doctor is happy with the weight loss, then enjoy your tremendous success!  You've lost as much in two months as I did in ten months!  This is a very individual journey for each of us.
