got appt with PCP
I called back today and told the snooty receptionist I needed an appointment because I've been extremely constipated. Which is almost true. the "extremely" part is a bit of an exageration but I do plan to ask for a script for Miralax while I'm there. And apparently the receptionist did not want to hear about my poop because she asked no other questions.
My appt is 8 am Friday. I am not a morning person but I have to drop my cat off at the vet that morning by 8 am anyway because she is getting some dental work done. This cat goes to the dentist more than I do.

LMAO!!! Love it!! And we have found the magic way to shut down a female (we all alreayd knew how to shut down a male.. talk about our periods lmao) ok - so its poop / period... the pp topics lol
In all seriousness - Im glad you finally got an appt - pls pls pls make sure you let your dr know what you had to go thru to get in to her.. majority of drs with crappy staff have no clue cause the patients wont tell them so they can fix it. And by fix it - i dont necessarily mean terminating the staff member - drs / ofc mgrs. will usually try retraining / verbal warnings first before anything else. Most of the time its a simple matter of misunderstanding on the staff members part - and once retrained - it doesnt usually happen again. But .. pls pls pls let the Doc know! Believe me - she WILL appreciate it as Im sure she doesnt want to lose patients etc.
Get better soon ;-)
hugs, love & prayers

Oh, I will let her know. I always let people know that kind of stuff.
I bet talking about foul gas would do the trick, too, you think?
