Pregnancy update!!

My baby boy must be extremely comfortable!! I had my appt this morning and I am STILL NOT DILATED at all!!!!  

Its kind of frustrating considering all the pain I have been having, especially this weekend. I just KNEW I was at least 2cm! I mean I have pain so bad that I can't even walk or barely breathe! Sometimes I have to just stop in my tracks and concentrate on my next breath. It hurts THAT bad! So to be told that I am still completely closed up is kind of discouraging. My doc said at my next week appt we will set an induction date if nothing changes.

I am basically 10 months pregnant now! I guess its not all that common to go this far because every time I tell somebody how far along I am they feel sorry for me and say they had their babies at 36-38 weeks! At least I know my son is fully baked!  :)   I SOOOOOOO cant wait to meet my little guy!!

Plenty of sex (semen contains prostaglandins) together with a few rattling ******s might help to as the uterine contractions might stimulate labour if you're ready too!!!!   

Please don't be in a rush to get an induction - the chances of a C-Section rise hugely after an induction - and once those doctors get their hands on you, a natural labour and delivery pretty much flies out of the window!!

I carried both of mine to 40 weeks. My youngest was 40 weeks, 2 days when they induced me. Both times I did not dilate. With my first I was in labor for 17 hours and they checked me and I STILL had not dilated (with contractions then 4 minutes apart). With my 2nd they cut to the chase and dilated me.

Here's hoping your boy isn't difficult like my girls!!!

Walk, run, climb, sex.  Get him out. :)

My first 2 babies were born at 42 weeks..... I hope you don't go that far..... 

BUT, if you do, I hope that Silas is as happy & healthy as they were.  They were my easiest babies - and wonderful sleepers. 

My baby was born on his due date (exactly 40 weeks). I know you are extremely anxious! Have lots and lots of sex and go for a couple walks a day.

Hey....Can't believe your time is here!!!

Hoping everything goes well with the delivery of your sweet boy....  Can't wait to see pictures of you holding him on the 'outside'.....

Sex? Really?  I have never been pregnant never mind for 40 weeks but I cannot imagine that I would want to be having sex!!  Good Luck with your new baby hope he comes out soon!!

 I was 3 weeks late with my first child and 3 days late with my second.  I truly believe babies know when they are ready to be born and as long as you are getting good medical care, trust your doctor.  They just passed a law in Oklahoma that makes it illegal to induce earlier than 40 weeks unless of a medical emergency.  Just too many people wanting to NOT be pregnant any longer or doctors wanting it to fit into their schedule.

It's NORMAL for babies to be 40 weeks. I'm glad they changed that law in Oklahoma City.
It's gonna happen and it's gonna be all sorts of coolness.
