oh Nik... how can I keep my chickpeas crunchy?

A can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinse.  Spread on a towel and pat dry with another towel.  Drizzle with oiive oil, stir and spread out on a baking sheet.  Bake for however long it takes to get crunchy at 400 degrees - take about 50 minutes in my oven but the recipe I originally saw said 40  minutes.  But I don't want the insides soft.  Stir a couple times while baking.  Then sprinkle with salt or any seasoning you like.  I did splenda and cinnamon once, and it was OK, but I like them salty better.

I think Seashell might be on to something with the olive oil. I have never used olive oil on mine, I just use the non stick olive oil spray before I cook mine. I made a huge batch about 5 days ago and they are still crunchy! Yummy!
