The Numbers Game

Let’s play a game today, shall we?

This is my new “little black dress" that I bought myself as a birthday present (my birthday is this Sunday and yes, I do accept presents). Isn’t it adorable???

I wish the details of the dress came through better but it is a black dress and I am no photographer. Anyhoo…here’s the game.   Guess the size of the dress. And don’t go all “we gotta stroke Nik’s ego" (not that I think any of you would but some of you could probably be accused of serial politeness). Give me your honest guess.   The number might surprise you.   ;)

ETA: There is a larger point to this whole exercise. Much of an AW as I am, my sole purpose was not to fish for compliments. Once I get a few guesses I'll let you know the size and the point. :)

Knowing how much sizes vary, and that this a complete crap-shoot (since I personally have everything from one size 16 dress to size 10s that also fit... and you and I both have the large chest thing going on), I'm going to guess a 12....

a 10??? (first thought was a 6 but after reading your post, thought it might be a bigger size than it looks?). BTW, are you still thinking of having a party for your bday?

Ummm…you were s’posed to be thinking of an idea remember???? I asked for your help with that. J

LOL! Actually someone put forth the idea of Dave & Busters. I LOVE that place and it is right at Arundel Mills, a great place for my other favorite pastime.

I know I'm sorry.  I was gonna suggest skating (either ice or roller) but noe everyone likes to do stuff like that.  Bowling is an option...but I think Dave and Busters is a safe option.

I saw on your other post that it's from H&M, so European sized - say 16 (unless they've re-done the label for the US market - sizes tend to be smaller in Europe and not nearly as much vanity sizing as the US)?  I don't know how tall you are so difficult to gauge your size ...

I am 5'8.5. I used to be 5' 9 but apparently I lost half an inch of height in this process as well!

I'll stick with a European size 16 then - whatever the label says, you look gorgeous!!!!
