egg flower soup

Hi ..I just had Gastric Bypass on 11-21-11 for the next 3 wks im on

clear fluids..i have a question on egg flower soup( strained it )  can u

have that ...
please let me know

I never heard of egg flower soup but if after you strain it you are left with a "broth" then you can have it.

U never heard of Egg Flower soup its Chinese ..i had some last night it was really

good..im trying different kinds of soups..dont want to get bored

oh you must be talking about egg drop soup that's what they call it here. If that's the case you can definitely have it. They actually wrote that as one of our clear food choices in our meal plan.

 If you strain it then you are fine.  I also liked french onion - strained (skip the bread and cheese on top - duh!). I wanted variety as well - it was a rough 3 weeks until I could add in other items!

Yep, that's one of the foods I ate early  out and it was sooooo good! 

Wonton soup also ... minus the wontons ...
