Kelly,

Thats a good idea to make an appt.  I'm always making sure everything inside me is ok.  My PCP does my labs every 6 weeks, wants to make sure I am staying on track, I do get a mamogram every yr.  And even the pap, even though I had a complete hystorectomy, just wanna make sure nothing brewing.  Better safe than sorry thats for sure!

Take Care,

Deb

YES!!!  Thats it Lupron.  I loved that shot, bit only can stay on it for 1 yr.  However don't have to worry about that anymore.  :)  And I do not miss that part of my female life!

I did do a couple of rounds 6 mos of birth control at a time because my cramps were bad and I developed quite the dependency on perscription pain meds.

I later had a hyst. but the continuous bc really helped with the monthly pain.

Anytime you have a change in your menstrual cycle you should see your ob/gyn, especially when you're over 35.  It could be perimenopause.  Or something else.

I assume seeing my PCP would be OK for starters?  I don't have an ob/gyn.  My PCP does my pap smears and all that female stuff.

I've been getting night sweats for a few months now.  Maybe it is perimenopause?

Your PCP would be fine.  Yeah, with the night sweats added in, I bet you're perimenopausal.  Sorry.
