Vitamin Deficiency Quiz
I know many of you are busy cooking and eating dinner today and spending time with family and I hope you’re all having a good Thanksgiving. For those that like the daily quiz, though, here it is.
What vitamin deficiencies might cause the following symptoms?
Depression and fatigue?
Numbness and tingling in hands and feet?
Night blindness?
Bruising easily?
Getting sick easily?
Restless leg syndrome?
Muscle weakness and pain?
Hair loss?
Loss of appetite?
Dry skin and chapped lips?
Weakness, dizziness and fatigue?
Fingernails that break easily or are softer than normal?
Please keep in mind, lots of other things could cause these symptoms, vitamin deficiencies can cause other symptoms besides those listed here, and the only way to know for sure if you have a vitamin deficiency is to get blood tests done. I do not suggest increasing your vitamins, at least not increasing them a lot, based only on symptoms you may be having. I suggest getting labs done to see if you are indeed deficient before increasing any supplements, at least significantly increasing them, because it is possible to take too much of some vitamins, however unlikely that is.
