on being thankful
Have you heard the saying, what if you woke up this morning with only those things you thanked God for before you went to sleep last night? I think someone on OH here has that as their signature line but I can't remember who. I've been thinking about that the last few days, though. If that happened to me, there are so many days I would wake up with nothing. Or close to nothing.
If it happened to you, what would you have woken up to this morning?
I would have my cats and my partner, but I would be sitting on the floor because I would not have my couch and I would be naked because I would not have clothes and I would not be sipping this lovely protein shake and I would be cold because there would be no heat in my house.

Kelly,
I read this a few weeks back and it really hit me hard. Where do I begin ... I am so very thankful and grateful!
I would definitely wake up with His peace in my spirit. I would have a lot of the "things" I have now. I would still have my WLS ... and I would still be dropping the pounds at His pace. I can't even begin to tell you how very thankful I am for the things that I have.
Let me share with you what I heard this morning ...
"Have you ever been taken for granted? Imagine how God feels!"
Being taken for granted is defiitely not a good feeling.
I see no one has responded ... hopefully this is food for thought for everyone ... and just imagine, it has NO calories:)
Happy Thanksgiving Kelly to you and yours ...
